PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: August 24, 2026
1. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS COVERS
This policy explains how Future Proof Founders ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit futureproofseminar.com and related pages, buy our products, join our email list, or participate in our community. By using the site, you agree to this policy. If you have questions at any point, email human@whoneedshumans.com.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you give us. Your name, email address, and anything you submit through our forms, such as business details in an application or questions you send us. When you buy something, our payment processor Stripe collects your payment details. We receive order information such as your name, email, what you bought, and the last four digits of your card, but never your full card number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect usage data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, referring URLs, and campaign or referral codes in the link you arrived from (such as UTM parameters or a "ref" code).
Community information. If you join our member community on Discord, we receive your Discord username and membership status so we can grant and manage your access.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- Process purchases, applications, and inquiries
- Deliver receipts, calendar invitations, access links, replays, and purchased products
- Grant and manage community and membership access
- Send updates and marketing emails you opted into (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Measure and improve our website, ads, products, and services
- Prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations
4. ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS TOOLS
We use a small number of third-party tools that place cookies or similar technologies on this site:
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), which helps us measure our ads and show relevant ads to people who visited this site. Meta may connect your visit to your Meta account under its own privacy policy. You can adjust this in your Meta ad preferences.
- Analytics tools (PostHog and Vercel Analytics), which help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
You can also opt out of interest-based advertising generally at optout.aboutads.info, and control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
5. WHEN WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business and only process data on our behalf: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), website hosting (Vercel), community hosting (Discord), analytics (PostHog, Vercel Analytics), and advertising measurement (Meta)
- Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public
- A successor business, if we are ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data
6. EMAIL AND MARKETING
We send marketing emails only to people who opted in or became customers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send transactional emails you need, such as receipts, access links, and important account or event notices.
7. DATA RETENTION
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above: while you are a subscriber, member, or customer, and afterward as needed for legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or anonymize it.
8. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, and we rely on established providers (such as Stripe for payments) that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your data ever occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
9. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on where you live (including California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the EU, and the UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live: email human@whoneedshumans.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. CHILDREN
Our site and Services are for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
11. INTERNATIONAL VISITORS
We are based in the United States and process data there. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those of your country. We protect it as described in this policy regardless of where you are.
12. DO NOT TRACK
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no common standard for responding to them, so like most sites we do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time. The opt-out tools in Section 4 remain available to you.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated revision date, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of material changes by email.
14. CONTACT
